The Blue Beach Fossil Museum
Society (BBFMS - Reg. Canadian ‘not-for-profit’) is very pleased to announce
that we have been personally invited to present important paleontological
findings to the International Congress on Carboniferous and Permian Geology and
Stratigraphy (ICCP) to be held in Albuquerque, New Mexico in May 2013. This exciting information impacts global
models on several important fronts; it will draw significant attention to the
importance of Blue
Beach for science, and draw
certain attention from international media.
As special guests of the NMMNH, our
presentation is being promoted as one of the highlights of the Congress:
newspapers and magazines around the world will relay our story in the days and
weeks following. This will also spark a significant degree of ‘chatter’ among
various scientific forums, spurring further debates, leading to additional
scientific reports, and further research funding. Plus, resolutions of the
findings will continue to make headlines for years to come.
The BBFMS is securing contributions
from local businesses and are canvassing within the social media. We are asking, at this time, that you show
your commitment to this amazing and exciting project by mailing a cash/cheque donation or visit our website: www.bluebeachfossilmuseum.com
(we accept PayPal donations)
(Donations over $20.00 receive a BBFMS Charitable tax receipt by mail)
Your donation will ensure the
Society can promote all attributes of this amazing natural treasure, the benefits
of the project, and our unique area on an international front. If you have a business logo, please email it
to us so we can advertise our supporters within our promotional packages as we
move forward
Know that with your support it gives
the Society confidence to approach all three levels of government for major
funding, demonstrating the museum project as something that our supporters see as valuable and
want to see built.
On behalf of the BBFM Society, I would like to thank you for sharing in our vision and for your donation to help
promote, preserve and present this world-class fossil site for all.
Truly yours,
Sonja E Wood (BBFMS Dir.)
